To any of you who follow my posts on this blog, and have wondered about the month and a half long silence, allow me to explain. I have been distracted by launching a side career as a public speaker on matters of college education. First, I have joined the speaker's bureau Nationally Speaking and their affiliate, Speaking of Education.
That required me to spend some time developing website content and promotional materials. Second, I have been putting together slide decks for a few presentations and workshops. Finally, I have had three speaking offers come out of the blue, and needed to prepare for these presentations. All of that is under control now, and I have notes on a backlog of issues I want to address in this space. So look for much more soon. Oh, and if you know of an opportunity to share the ideas in Winning the College Game as a speaker or workshop presenter, please either send me an email of pass on my information to the appropriate person/people. I am committed to helping college students receive the greatest possible value from college, and speaking and presentings are a great way to put that commitment into action. |
