The College Board, those folks who brought you the fun experience of the SAT tests, have a website full of useful information for prospective college students. The also have a section I hope more current or soon-to-be college students will visit. The Plan - College Success page links to very helpful articles on academic success, including how to choose the right classes, how to do well in those classes and how to write college level papers. There is also a set of articles dealing with transitioning to college life outside the classroom that I strongly encourse you to read sometime between the euphoric moment when the admissions letters arrive and the practical reality of deciding what to pack. |
